The Sporting Heritage brand goes back nearly 40 years, initially published in 1986 as the Sporting Life Collection in conjunction with the former daily newspaper! The collection started off exclusively related to horse racing but evolved over the years as our network grew and grew.
As a former professional footballer and agent to the world’s most famous Champion jockey, Frankie Dettori, our Managing Director, Cliff Woof, was fortunate to posses a wide network of good friends and contacts, many still active in the world of sport and, as a result, he was able to source a wide range of original souvenirs, many of which are signed by the sportsmen themselves. Over the years we continued to collect, build and create a fantastic range built on relationships with not only the sportsmen themselves, but also agents, artists and other key individuals within the industry…
Throughout this time, we have been delighted to see the joy these special souvenirs and pieces of memorabilia and art have brought to our customers. What a terrific way to bring back to life all those brilliant sporting moments – and we know all too well how special those moments can be and just how much they are treasured both by those actively involved and, indeed, those spectating the sport.
