A superb limited edition print by Roy Miller featuring the superb Classic winner, Rodrigo de Triano and Lester Piggot who teamed up to win the 1992, Two Thousand guineas at Newmarket providing the jockey with his 30th Classic success. It was the beginning of a most fruitful partnership, pairing the maestro’s craft, guile and horsemanship with a horse whose willingness, courage and exhilarating turn of foot executed perfectly his connections astute plans. Winner of Four Group one races in 1992, the parnership concluded with a thrilling win in the Champion Stakes st HQ and Roy’s superb study of the pair captures the ‘Classic Combination’ at HQ where the colt was trained, brilliantly, by Peter Chapple-Hyam. Each print iis numbered and signed by the artist and measures approximately 58 x 50cm.
