Sea The Stars, Racehorse of the Year 2009

Record breaking Sea The Stars
by Jacqueline Stanhope

A superb study by prolific artist Jacqueline Stanhope of the newly crowned Racehorse of the year 2009. A brilliant winner of the 2000 Guineas, Epsom Derby, Eclipse Stakes, Juddmonte International, Irish Champion Stakes and, finally, the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. Undoubtedly the best we have seen since Dancing Brave and, owned by Christopher Tsui, ridden by Michael Kinane and trained by John Oxx in Co. Kildare. He  is a half brother to the Derby winner Galileo.

almost certainly looked upon with more pride now, than at any other time since. They really are true heroes.
Souvenirs and memorabilia are the most tangible means of recalling their achievements and in producing this range, bringing together the superstars of yesterday and indeed today, I congratulate Sporting Heritage on their wide and varied collection. Apart from my own riding career, I am an avid f
